The musical is noted by the most famous number, "One Night In Bangkok," performed by Murray Head, who played the American in 1986. A revival of Chess came about in 1988, which re-wrote much of the original songs and made them more broadway-like instead of concert-like. The memorable number from this 1988 version was the new song "Someone Else's Story."
Chess has been in concert multiple times, including one concert in which Adam Pascal starred as the American. Chess has been released on DVD, "Chess In Concert." Its lyrics and music continue to inspire many fans.

Question: I really, *really* want to get a CD of Chess. Which album do you recommend? I've heard the concept is best, but I've only heard covers of the songs...
